MYINDICI – PATIENT PORTAL

We are pleased to offer access to MyIndici Patient Portal.

MyIndici patient portal provides a secure access to a range of services on-line.  You can connect securely to a portion of your medical record, find information which may be useful through on-line resources, book medical appointments and request repeat prescriptions.

PRIVACY & SAFETY

As part of the application for registration process we need  to ensure we can confirm who you are.  To do this, you will need to visit the practice in person to complete our portal registration form and supply 1 piece of Photo ID.

MyIndici services are securely managed and supported within New Zealand,  Encryption is used to protect your information when it is being sent to your portal.   No-one can access your Myindici Account UNLESS they have access to your username and passowrd.  It is important to keep your login details safe at all time.  This portal can only be accessed in New Zealand.

BOOKING APPOINTMENTS

A selection of appointments are available to book online.    If you require an URGENT same day or double appointment, please call the practice.

You can cancel your scheduled appointment (if you have booked this yourself) up to one hour before the appointment time.  After that, you will need to call us to cancel. 

You can book appointments for dependent children under 16 years.

If your Practitioner is away or on leave, you will not be able book an appointment until their return date to the practice.   You will need to call the practice to book an appointment with your Practitioner’s locum.

REQUESTING REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS

All registered on-line patients will have access to their long-term medications to select from a list.  For requests for other or additional medications – please call the medical centre.  

We try to ensure that all prescription requests are attended to the same working day, however we do ask that you allow 2 working days as this allows us to ensure your regular doctor is given the request.  If you do have an urgent request, please phone the medical centre.

YOUR HEALTH INFORMATION

The healthcare information available to you via MyIndici Patient Portal is:

  1. Conditions listed as long-term

  2. Allergies to medicines

  3. Immunisations you have been given

  4. Recalls – these are reminders we have set up make sure you do not miss out on important screening and blood tests etc

  5. A list of medications we have prescribed for you

  6. Your VITAL information which has been recorded in our patient management system, this may include blood pressure, BMI, height and weight etc.

LAB and TEST RESULTS

Your LAB and other test results will be made available on your portal once your Practitioner has received and reviewed them – they will then release the results to your portal for your information.  Our standard procedures remain with regards to receiving and acting on all test results.  The portal will be a means of securely keeping copies for your future reference.

Results will only be available as from October 2025.  

YOUR STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT – BILLING

You will be able to view all incoming invoices and your current balance of your account on the portal.  We do not have functionality around payment via the portal as yet, however, will update everyone when this function is available.

WHAT IS NOT AVAILABLE ONLINE

Although MyIndici Patient Portal provides these features, we are not permitting access to:

  1. Doctor, Nurse, Health Improvement Practitioner or Health Coach notes

  2. Messaging to your doctor or other practitioners

Access to Practitioner Notes

You have the right to view your medical records (and request a copy) however the context of that request is important and as part of our polices regarding privacy and requesting medical records – we may need to know why you need your notes.  

Portal Messaging to Providers

This service is not intended to replace visits to your doctor.

What appears to be a quite simple question may require access to the medical records and require thorough consideration on the same level as a general consultation. 

 


 

PATIENT PORTAL REGISTRATION PROCESS

  1. You will need to visit the practice in person to complete a Registration Form.  We also need to see one form of photo ID to give you full access.

  1. Our team will then send you an email with a unique MyIndici Token and registration link.  You will need to fill out your name, date of birth, individual email address and NHI number.  

  1. You will be sent a temporary username (your username will be your email address) followed by a separate email with a PIN (this is a one-off multi-factor authentication for first time users).

  1. Follow the prompts – finally you will receive your temporary password in a separate email.  This will prompt you to set a unique password ready to commence using the portal.

  1. Get the APP
    The MyIndici APP is free to download from both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store

    Please note:  you must register via email and set up your account before you can log in using the app.
